Zentangle Animals
The initial tutorial in this module focused on creating zentangle animals. This hands-on activity serves as a practical exercise to illustrate and apply design principles like contrast, balance, repetition, and pattern. Engaging in the zentangle exercise not only enhances artistic skills but also contributes to improved concentration.
Scale and Coloring Media
We received a plan view of an L-shaped building and were instructed to recreate it at a 1:40 scale. I kept most of the furniture and included a piano for added interior details. Completing this tutorial markedly improved my ability to render with color pencils.
Architectural Lettering
Effective communication through drawings is a crucial skill for architects. The professionalism and comprehensibility of the information conveyed heavily depend on the clarity and legibility of lettering. The chosen text for this purpose is 'Negaraku,' the supreme national anthem of Malaysia.
